Author Biographies

  • Jorge Alexandre Neves, UFMG

    He holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison/USA and is a full professor in the Department of Sociology at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG).

  • Vitor de Moraes Peixoto, Uenf

    He holds a degree in Social Sciences from the State University of Northern Rio de Janeiro Darcy Ribeiro (UENF), and a master's and doctorate in Political Science from the University Research Institute of Rio de Janeiro (IUPERJ). He is currently an associate professor at UENF, where he is a permanent member of the Postgraduate Program in Political Sociology and treasurer of the Latin American Association of Political Science (ALACIP). He is the author of the book "Elections and Campaign Financing in Brazil" (2016).

  • Gisele Braga Bastos, Uenf

    She holds a PhD in Political Sociology from the State University of Northern Rio de Janeiro Darcy Ribeiro (UENF); a bachelor's degree in Public Administration and a master's degree in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF). She has technical training in environment and environmental management certified by the Centro Paula Souza - ETEC - Jacareí-SP, and in folklore from the Museum of Anthropology of the Paraíba Valley.
